We've tasted this wine at the shop once or twice and each time it's been a Greenwood favorite. 100% Chardonnay from the Jura (nestled between Burgundy and Switzerland), hand harvested and whole cluster pressed. Méthode champenoise, meaning, the second fermentation (the one that gives it bubbles!) happens in the bottle. Each bottle is aged 24 months and is hand-riddled. The wine has received great press in The Wine Advocate and consistently wins prizes in France. It is festive and celebratory, with fine bubbles, and you can drink it from the beginning of the party to the end.
