From/Terroir: A continuation of le Montrachet with which it shares a border, steep hill, facing south, poor, shallow soils with limestone, En Remilly, Saint Aubin, Burgundy, France.
Critical Acclaim: 10 barrels made instead of 50. Pure pale lemon yellow. Very stylish, quite backward, En Remilly rather likes the cooler year as it avoids the roasted stone character of the hotter vintages. Pure white fruit with almost a touch of sucrosity, and a lovely balanced aftertaste. Drink from 2026-2033. Tasted Nov 2023. 93 points out of 100.
