Tasting Notes

Aromas of wild strawberry and blood orange are lifted by rose petal and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is bright and finely textured, balancing fresh red fruit with lively acidity and a subtle mineral edge. The finish is dry and refreshing, leaving a crisp, lightly savory impression.

Pairing Block

Food Pairing

Rosé made from Nerello Mascalese in Sicily offers bright acidity, subtle structure, and a lightly savory, mineral-leaning profile that suits dishes with herbs, olive oil, and moderate richness. Its balance of lift and gentle texture pairs with grilled seafood, vegetable-driven plates, and Mediterranean preparations. Try grilled swordfish with capers, lemon, and oregano. While its crisp finish keeps lightly spiced or tomato-accented dishes feeling focused.

About the Producer

Based in Cammarata in central Sicily, Feudo Montoni is a historic family estate now led by third generation Fabio Sireci. The property spans roughly 80 hectares, with about 35 hectares planted to vineyards at elevations between 600 and 800 meters on limestone and clay soils. The estate focuses on native Sicilian varieties including Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Grillo, and Catarratto, farmed with organic practices and low yields suited to the inland mountain climate.
