Cantina Puiatti, founded in 1967 by Vittorio Puiatti in Romans d’Isonzo in Friuli Venezia Giulia, is a focused, modern estate known for its commitment to precision and varietal clarity. Later shaped by Giovanni Puiatti, the winery established a distinctive identity through its complete avoidance of oak and reliance on stainless steel vinification, emphasizing freshness, acidity, and transparency of site. Working with both indigenous and international varieties, including Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, and Sauvignon Blanc, Puiatti produces wines that are clean, linear, and understated, reflecting both the alluvial soils of the Isonzo zone and the broader Friulian tradition of technically precise, terroir-driven white winemaking.
