Vibrant citrus and orchard fruit notes lead to kaffir lime, green apple, and white peach, highlighted by subtle acacia and hawthorn white floral hints. On the palate, the wine is refreshing and precise, with a distinct minerality and bright citrus character. Pure fruits that mirror the nose are balanced by firm acidity. There is an obvious cool-climate Riesling typicity here, including tension between acidity and fruit and a subtle mineral edge that reinforces the wine’s structure and freshness.

Pecchenino is a family-run estate based in Dogliani in the Piedmont, known for its long-standing focus on Dolcetto as well as important holdings in Barolo. The Pecchenino family has farmed vineyards for generations, with the modern estate shaped in the late 20th century through expansion into prime sites in Monforte d’Alba. While Dogliani Dolcetto remains central to the identity of the winery—produced from estate vineyards with careful attention to site—the estate is also recognized for its Barolo wines, which emphasize structure, balance, and a clear expression of Nebbiolo.
