Fruit for this wine comes from vineyards planted in 1988 on a southeast facing slope of pebble-filled clay and limestone. Whole clusters were crushed slowly and began fermentation spontaneously. Vinification took 15 months in oak that was 10% new. The resulting wine was fined with Bentonite and lightly filtered. Demeter certified Biodynamic.
|Aromas of smoky green orchard fruit and ripe citrus fruits introduce the 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Les Aigrots Blanc, a medium to full-bodied, layered and incisive wine with good cut and flesh.
