Domaine Les Pins is a family-run winery in the Loire Valley, with roots dating back to the 1930s, when Jules Esprit established the estate. Now in its fifth generation under the Pitault family, the domaine remains a small artisanal producer overseeing every stage of its winemaking from vineyard to bottle.
The property encompasses about 30–32 hectares planted exclusively to Cabernet Franc, known locally as Breton, with roughly 28 ha in the Bourgueil appellation and 4 ha in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. The vines are approximately 25 years old and are cultivated on a mix of sandy, clay, and gravel soils.
