Tasting Notes

This is a pale yellow core with bright, reflective highlights and a persistent fine bead. On the nose, the wine shows fresh citrus lift, predominantly lemon and green apple, and is complemented by subtle floral and white peach, and brioche-like lees influence. On the palate, this is crisp and energetic, with tight acidity framing flavors of green apple, pear, lemon zest, and a hint of orchard fruit.

About the Producer

Maison Moillard is a historic Burgundy producer based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the Côte de Nuits. The Moillard family’s documented involvement in viticulture dates back to before the French Revolution, with formal commercial activity established in 1850 by Symphorien Moillard. From its beginnings, the house has operated as both a grower and négociant, building long-standing relationships with vineyard owners across Burgundy and producing wines that reflect a broad cross-section of the region’s appellations and styles.
