A gorgeously drinkable Italian red wine that could be accurately described as tasting like a more rustic Nebbiolo from southern Italy. Wild strawberry and ripe raspberry aromas intermingle with fruit leather, sweet spices, Mediterranean scrub, and sea breezes. On the palate, the fruit components largely match the aromas found in the glass, with tart, bright red fruit opening the palate, then moving into more developed earthy, spicy, Mediterranean-herb-esque flavors, and finishing on a wave of saline minerality.
