Merlot has been cultivated in the Veneto region since the end of the 19th century. The unique aromatic structure of Gran Bassano Rosso is the result of a masterly infusion of Merlot along with 33 aromatic botanicals, among which stand out the holy thistle and the yarrow moscata (native plants from Bassano area), as well as rhubarb, vanilla, pimento, ginger, and liquorice.
Pleasant, fruity notes from the Merlot mesh with a potpourri of spices and aromatic herbs.
