Description

From: Napa Valley, California
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon

Taste & Critical Acclaim: “An impressive Cabernet that celebrates the region by bringing together succulent dark fruits with a bright wash of acidity and an enticing integration of aromatic woods, baking spice and cocoa powder. The tannins persist while being powder fine allowing the option to age or enjoy now.” 94 Points, Elaine Chukan Brown, Wine Enthusiast

“Most of the grapes for this Napa Cabernet are sourced from Calistoga, with additional fruit from the Oak Knoll District and Yountville AVAs. It showcases upfront black cherry and plum fruits, complemented by delicate cedarwood spices, mocha, and sandalwood nuances. Medium-bodied with supple, fine tannins, it finishes with hints of cola spice, sage, and thyme, offering a harmonious and enjoyable experience. Aged in 30% new French oak, it is impressively approachable and balanced for such a young wine and should be enjoyed at cellar temperature around 57°F (13°C) alongside meat-lovers pizza or burgers.” 93 Points, Decanter

About:
Glassblower Wines is based in Napa, California, and reflects a deeply personal vision shaped by founder Michael Dashe’s dual background in both winemaking and glass artistry. This small-production project blends a design-minded ethos with a quietly radical approach to sourcing and cellar work, producing wines that are textural, varietally expressive, and grounded in site specificity. While the label carries a Napa Valley identity, the wines are primarily sourced from vineyards in the Oak Knoll District and Calistoga: two subzones at opposite ends of the valley, each contributing distinct elements to the final blends.
