Taste: On the palate, it is medium-bodied and smooth, offering juicy red fruit balanced by fresh acidity and soft, rounded tannins. Notes of wild strawberry, plum skin, and pomegranate lead into a savory mid-palate.
Pairing: The Le Colombier’s bright acidity, supple texture, and subtle spice make it a versatile pairing. To match its lift and gentle structure, aim for dishes that emphasize roasted vegetables, aromatic herbs, or lightly spiced proteins.
About: Massaya Wines is headquartered in the village of Tanaïl in Lebanon’s fertile Beqaa Valley, a high-altitude plateau surrounded by the Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon mountain ranges. This region has been at the center of Lebanon’s agricultural life for centuries and, more recently, its modern winemaking revival. The name Massaya means “twilight” in Arabic.
