Bruno Lafon comes from a prestigious winemaking family in Burgundy, with a legacy of Domaine des Comtes Lafon, known for its exceptional Meursault wines. In 1999, Bruno Lafon moved to the Languedoc region and started his winemaking project. He aimed to produce high-quality wines that express the region's unique terroir. By 2003, the first vintage of Bruno Lafon's wines from the Languedoc was released, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his winemaking journey. In 2009, Bruno Lafon and Sylvie Legros established Domaine Magellan in the Pézenas appellation of the Languedoc. This domain has become well-known for its commitment to organic farming and producing wines reflecting terroir.
