2022 Ritme Cellars 'Ritme Negre' Priorat Red

The wine shows a vivid violet hue and a focused mix of dark berries, cherry pit, licorice, wood smoke, and a clear mineral edge. It’s supple and lifted on the palate, with bright acidity carrying flavors of bitter cherry, boysenberry, and more mineral notes. The texture is smooth and balanced, finishing with mint, violet, and lily before settling into long, clean tones of dark cherry and blood orange.

Ritme Celler, part of the Acústic Celler family in Priorat, aims to capture the region’s rugged character through wines made from native varieties and shaped by low-intervention farming and winemaking. Albert Jané leads the project with a firm commitment to organic practices, maintaining biodiversity and relying on natural products in the vineyard, indigenous yeasts in fermentation, minimal filtration, and careful use of oak. The goal is simple: wines that reflect the land’s rhythm and speak clearly of their origin. All are certified organic by the Catalan Council of Organic Agricultural Production (CCPAE).
