Founded in 2010 by agronomist Francesco Valentino and run today with his family, L’Archetipo farms about 20 hectares in Salento using a pioneering form of “synergistic agriculture” that blends organic, biodynamic, and regenerative practices. The estate specializes in indigenous Puglian varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Aglianico, Fiano, and Greco Bianco, producing expressive reds, vibrant whites, and characterful skin-contact wines. With native-yeast fermentations, minimal sulphur, and a low-intervention approach, the Valentinos craft wines that are pure, textural, and deeply rooted in their iron-rich southern Italian terroir.
