Les Fiefs de Lagrange receives the same care as the Grand Vin, with a search for maturity and concentration in the vineyard, a plot vinification and aging adapted to its tannic structure.
Tasting Notes: A beautiful expression of Cabernet Sauvignon in this 2012 vintage. Fruity notes of cassis, licorice, pepper, and mocha. The 32-year-old vines that produced this blend imparted lots of freshness and roundness to the wine in the elegant 2012 elegant vintage.
"Very dark purple. Quite intense, putty-like aroma. Soft and sweet, for early drinking. Very gently handled. Friendly even without real punch." –Jancis Robinson (April 2013)
"A bright cabernet, this wine is made from the younger vines at Lagrange. It has some green edges to its tannins, as well as some milk chocolate notes, mellowing the spicy finish of eucalyptus, anise and clove." –Wine and Spirits (October 2016)
