About: Jean-Paul Brun is a highly regarded winemaker from Beaujolais, renowned for his dedication to traditional winemaking and minimal intervention techniques. In 1979, he established Domaine des Terres Dorées in Charnay, a village located in the southern region of Beaujolais. The estate began with just 4 hectares and has since expanded to approximately 30 hectares in the south, along with an additional 15 hectares in Beaujolais crus such as Côte de Brouilly, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent, and Fleurie. His winemaking philosophy is centered on showcasing the true character of the Gamay grape and the terroir.
