ABOUT RAMONA Created by wine industry veteran Jordan Salcito, RAMONA is the world’s first wine and grapefruit spritz made from organically grown grapes and natural grapefruit. Like a love-child of a mimosa and an Aperol Spritz, RAMONA is a lightly carbonated wine made from organic Sicilian Zibibbo grapes and blended with organic ruby grapefruit, packaged in a portable 250ml aluminum slim can. The name RAMONA was inspired by Salcito’s younger sister’s five-year-old alter ego. (She was obsessed with the Beverly Cleary series). Certified Organic by Suolo e Salute.
ABOUT JORDAN SALCITO From working in the vineyards at world-renowned wineries to piling up awards as the beverage director of Momofuku and a sommelier at Eleven Madison Park, Jordan has worked in nearly every facet of the wine industry. Her passion for taking great wines outside of the frequently stuffy culture that would rather hide them away in fancy basements led her to create RAMONA, a wine without rules.
EASY RAMONA RECIPES:
In a Collins glass with ice, mix 1/4 oz Aperol or Cappelletti and 1/2 can (4oz) of RAMONA. Top with Prosecco and garnish with a grapefruit or lime wheel.
In a shaker, mix 4oz RAMONA with 1.5 oz blanco tequila and 1/4 oz fresh lime. Shake gently and strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
