From: Charly-sur-Marne, Vallée de la Marne, Champagne, France
Varietal: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay
Taste: On the nose, delicate floral aromas intertwine with inviting notes of Asian pear, ripe orchard fruits, and Golden Delicious apple served poached on brioche toast underpinned by a subtle mineral salinity. The palate is medium-bodied, offering vibrant flavors of ripe stone fruits and golden apples, complemented by bright accents of lemon curd, zest, and honey toast.
Pairing: Traditional French cuisine finds a match with this Champagne’s structure and minerality. The wine’s brightness balances the creamy, smoky richness of Quiche Lorraine. At the same time, Coquilles Saint-Jacques, with its tender scallops and buttery breadcrumbs, is elevated by the Champagne’s mineral elegance and complexity.

About: Champagne Drémont-Marroy is a family-owned estate in Charly-sur-Marne, within France's Vallée de la Marne region. Its history spans multiple generations, beginning with the family's initial ventures into viticulture. The first bottle of Champagne under the Drémont name was introduced to the market in 1955, marking the family's formal entry into Champagne production. At that time, the vineyard encompassed a modest one-hectare, planted by the family’s grandmother in 1945. For decades, the estate sold their fruit to négociants until the latest generation decided to redefine their approach to winemaking.
