96 points Decanter "This wine is not what you'd expect from such a hot and dry year, yet the concentration of the grapes concentrated the acidity, too, and the result is a wine of tension and power that should age exceptionally well. No one will blame you, however, for opening a few bottles early. Unlike the white premier cru from Ponsot in this appellation, this is 100% Chardonnay from the 0.6ha Dujac holding. The wine is fermented in tank and aged in used casks. In 2020, the wine took me by surprise with its vibrant, lemony fruit and minerality. Drinking Window 2025 - 2040. (CC)" (11/2021)
92-94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate "The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Monts Luisants Blanc is excellent, delivering scents of pear, freshly baked bread and citrus oil, followed by a medium-bodied, taut and chalky palate built around a bright spine of acidity. (WK)" 1/2022)
93 points John Gilman "The 2020 Monts Luisants Blanc was really on form at the time of my visit, delivering a refined aromatic constellation of apple, quince, white lilies, a beautiful base of limestone minerality, raw almond, and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and complex, with a superb core, lovely soil signature, bright, zesty acids and a long, racy and precise finish. This is excellent. (Drink between 2024-2045)" (11/2021)
91-93 points Vinous "The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Monts Luisants Blanc 1er Cru was picked around midway through the harvest. It has a tightly-coiled bouquet that takes time to open, touches dew-speckled Granny Smiths and pressed white flowers. The palate is fresh and vibrant with fine acidity, very impressive weight with a tangy, tangerine-tinged finish. This might well be my pick from Dujac’s whites this year. Excellent. (NM)" (11/2021)
90-92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound "Cooler and airier aromas reflect notes of green apple, mineral reduction and a broad array of citrus elements that can also be found on the precise and highly energetic, if not especially dense, flavors that terminate in a bone-dry, youthfully austere and chiseled finale. This is certainly attractive in its fashion though it lacks the same class and grace of the Folatières or Combettes. "(6/2022)
91-93pts Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: "Pale lemon and lime. The bouquet is refined and crystalline, not showing detail yet. This is beautiful in the mouth with swelling greengage fruit and a citrus twist, a fine long crystalline finish. Tasted: December 2021."
