The estate has become one of the defining producers of volcanic wines in the region, known for its meticulous work with pre-phylloxera vines cultivated in Lanzarote’s extreme conditions. Established in 2001, Los Bermejos occupies a historic 18th-century winery building that was renovated to accommodate modern enology while respecting traditional methods. Although relatively young as a brand, the winery draws from a viticultural history that has been present on the island since the 1700s.
