From: Sicily, Italy
Varietal: Inzolia
Tasting Notes: Faithful to tradition yet modern and innovative. Inzolia in purity, a wine with its aromatic characteristics, which stands out for its savory and mineral taste.
Pairing: Not forgetting its mineral nature, it is also a white as an aperitif to match appetizers with bright flavors. But it is with seafood dishes that it can generate wonder: ideal with shellfish, peppered mussels, sea urchins, and octopus salad; also good on pasta, always marine, and white. For the second course, it favors the intensity of the clear and fragrant flavors of fried food or the delicacy and sweetness of prawns and prawns. With sardine meatballs, it is a real triumph.
CVA Canicattì, was born in 1969 in the wake of the Sicilian peasant movement that had also marked these lands. Since the beginning, the production project has been supported by the convinced support of numerous farmers who share a cultural and valuable heritage linked to the civilization of the vine and wine. In the mid-2000s a new production process aimed at oenological excellence matured: an investment plan in the technological and organizational field that touched all sectors of production allowed CVA Canicattì to define a new and higher concept of wine quality. From the management of the vineyard to the marketing strategies, the goal has always been the same: to intercept the most demanding consumer and prepared with wines with a high enological content characterized by the right quality / price ratio.
