Domaine Skouras is a Greek wine estate based in Nemeaon the Peloponnese peninsula. It makes a range of wines based on the Agiorgitiko grape variety and a handful of more international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon. It was founded in 1986 in Pyrgela near Argos by local man George Skouros; a new winery was opened in 2004 at Malendri.
The domaine is comprised of vineyards in Nemea and in the non-PDO region of Argolida, although Skouras brings in grapes from carefully selected local growers as well. The winery itself is in Nemea, and provides a modern, state-of-the-art backdrop to Skouras' wine tourism.
Tasting Notes: A soft color with a light shade of grey. The wine has a nose with a high lift and complexity found in aromas of roses, jasmine, lime, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. It is of medium body with explosive acidity–refreshing and full of taste, including citrus flowers and tropical fruits.
