From: Sicily, Italy
Varietal: 100% Nerello Mascalese
The vineyards are 250 to 300 meters above sea level. The grapes are hand-picked in small boxes. Maceration at temperature-controlled, between 77 and 82°F. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel, then bottled, and left to rest for 4 months before release.
Tasting Notes: Intense red color with a perfume that is characteristic of the grape, delicate and persistent notes of red fruits.
Pairing: Pairs well with medium seasoned cheese, grilled steak, and baked pork.
