The wines of Domaine Roulot are some of the most sought after wines in all of Burgundy. Aligoté has been called the "other" white wine grape of the region, but lately its gaining a spotlight for the grape's ability to express terroir, often at an approachable price. Textured and fresh, this one is versatile enough for creamy poultry dishes, pesto pasta, or fresh shellfish.
Winemaker Notes: The Aligote is the only wine in the cellar that does not see any wood. It is fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel for around a year before being bottled.

Two parcels in the lower part of Meursault, aged 50 and 70 years respectively provide the raw material for this impressive, stainless steel-fermented Aligoté from Jean-Marc Roulot. Leesy, tangy, refreshing and long, it's a very pure, citrus and lime-like white with stony acidity.
