From: Burgundy, France
Varietal: Rich and stylish, mingling black cherries and raspberries, with nuances of spice, minerals and game. Hints of blackberry and a tease of sweet blues emerge as it opens in the glass – as well as mocha and that gamey/meaty sauvage. Delicious and surprisingly supple for a young Gevrey. Not big or overtly muscular, but penetrating and long – with a lip smacking succulent finish. Pinot Noir
