Vinous: 91-93 Points
The 2017 Meursault Vendange Sélectionée comes from a parcel of the oldest vines, around 80-years in age. It has a refined bouquet with wax resin and linseed, just a hint of fennel complementing the citrus fruit. The palate offers a touch more race and tension than the regular cuvée, certainly more on the back palate with walnut and ginger coming through nicely. Excellent.
Wine Advocate: 90-92 Points
From parcels that touch Santenots, the 2017 Meursault Vendanges Sélectionnées offers up aromas of yellow orchard fruit, flowers and fresh peach. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and nicely concentrated, with more depth and dimension than the regular Meursault, its generous core of fruit balanced by juicy acids.
