Varietal: Pinot Noir
Domaine Charlopin Tissier got its start in 2013 with only 1.08 hectares of vines and is the child of husband and wife Yann Charlopin and Justine Tissier. The young couple now hold just over 4 hectares of vines in Bourgogne, Côte de Nuits-Villages, Marsannay, Gevrey Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Vosne Romanée, and Pernand-Vergelesses. Inspired by the elegant wines of Yann’s mentor Jean-Marie Fourrier, the wines of Domaine Charlopin Tissier are pure wines of elegance and finesse.

James Suckling on the 2017 vintage in Burgundy: "If I was to describe the general character of the 2017 pinot noir wines it is a vintage with plenty of fragrance, attractive fruit, lacy tannins, reasonably strong terroir character, and an overall air of transparency and approachability.”
