A blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, this Castell de la Comanda tinto hails from the Conca de Barberà region of Catalunya, Spain.
A deep purplish red color, high robe, clean and bright, the nose is complex, with good intensity, aromas of ripe red fruit, jams, liquorice and spices. On the palate it is medium bodied, tasty and with very pleasant fruity sensations, balanced acidity and good persistence. The finish is long and persistent, with notes of ripe fruits appearing again.
Pairing: Rice, pasta, light meats, legumes.
