Varietal: A blend of 55% Ull de Llebre (Tempranillo), 25% Syrah & 20% Garnacha.
Tasting Notes: A deeply colored, powerful mix of tempranillo and syrah made by top Spanish winemaker Tomàs Cusiné from his vineyards in Catalunya. Brimming with blueberry-fruit flavor supported by a pleasingly chunky backbone.
Pairing: stews, roast pork, grilled lamb, semi-hard cheeses, rice with meat, sausages, and civet.
After 20 years of experience manufacturing and marketing wines in Costers del Segre, Tomàs Cusiné began in 2003, his new wine venture. Very knowledgeable about the area, engages his company with a long-term, with the aim of consolidating its hold of prestige. It is installed in the village of El Vilosell, in the region of Les Garrigues (Lleida), rents the old cooperative and remodels, restoring underground silos and incorporating all the necessary infrastructure for elegant wines of great quality. In 2006 started the expansion of the winery with 500 m2 for storage and bottling.
