From: Columbia Valley, Washington, USA
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: Complex layered aromatics of dark cherry, huckleberry, and cedar, with a hint of sage and warm earth tones, lead to dense savory flavors on the layered palate. Black currant, dark fruits, and Bing cherry linger alongside dark chocolate and spice balanced by firm, dusty tannins with a nice touch of oak, acidity, and earthiness on the finish. As is typical of Champoux Vineyard, this is a very elegant but powerful Cabernet Sauvignon that will cellar for quite a long time
