“Medium bodied, finesse styled, fresh and silky, with an elegant slant to its red fruits. Sweet, spicy, lush and polished.” –Jeff Leve, 92 points
“Juicy & layered, with raspberry, plum & blackberry pate de fruit flavors, all carried by polished & persistent grip through a licorice & spice-laden finish. Focused & fresh. Best from 2019 through 2030. 9,500 cases made.” –Wine Spectator, 92 points
”Another in a long line of textbook wines from this estate, the 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée Tradition displays subtle peppery, cinnamon and cherry notes on the nose. It's velvety in texture, turning to silk on the long, spicy finish. … A nice red purple color with shiny highlights. On the nose, this Chateauneuf-du-Pape spreads aromas of little red berries. It has a sweeping silky smooth mouth. It will ideally be served with game, such as jugged hare or jugged boar.” -Robert Parker, 91 points (October, 2017)
“It's a classic wine from this estate and offers textbook peppery garrigue, olive, and games notes, ample currant and blackberry fruit, medium to full-bodied richness, sweet tannin, and a good finish. In short, it's an outstanding, classic Châteauneuf du Pape that will drink well for a decade or more.” –Jeb Dunnuck, 91 points (October, 2017)
