From the Project: This is our first wine with Doug Tunnell of Brick House vineyards, one of the greatest producers of Pinot Noir in the United States. It comes from the vineyards around his property and is a blend of 115 and Pommard clones, utilizing partial whole cluster fermentation and aged in used French barrels. All of his vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic. Lighter on the nose with intense aromas of wild strawberries and rose petals the wine is fresh and lively on the palate with notes of cherry cola and red raspberry. There’s great acidity and structure and the wine will age well for 5-7 years.
