Tasting Notes: Dark cherry red with garnet tones. Viscous legs. Intense, pleasant nose with hints of the aging process predominating (smoky notes and licorice) as well as notes of red fruit (candied cherries) and black fruit preserve. Aeration reveals hints of spice and balsamic notes, alongside aromas of dried flowers. Very attractive mouthfeel, good volume, noticeable but very well-integrated tannins. Long, fresh finish with lactic notes.

Pairing: Because this wine is so friendly with its polished tannins and versatile fruit and spice nature, you can pair this with a wide range of foods. BBQ chicken, teriyaki, salmon, dishes that incorporate tomato, black bean, and corn, along with any fresh ingredients as well; like caprese salads in the summer along with freshly grilled vegetables. About: This wine comes from high-altitude vineyards located between 700 and 800 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Serra de la Llena mountain chain, in the extreme southwest of the Costers del Segre DO, in the region of Les Garrigues bordering Priorat. The different plots that make up the estate have a range of inclines and hours of sunlight, enjoying very mild weather in spite of the zone's harsh climate and scarce rains, thanks to the influence of the dry winds from the west in the morning and the more humid winds from the sea in the afternoon, refreshing the atmosphere and increasing the difference between night and day temperatures. Soils in these vineyards have great water retention, are rich in gravels, and have an optimum marly texture for quality viticulture.
