From: Vin de France
Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc
Taste: This is how Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley is supposed to be…fresh, bright, easy-drinking, and easy on the wallet. An uncomplicated, fruit-forward wine that will refresh on the hottest of days and pick you right up on the weariest of early evenings. Leading with exceptional acidity and juiciness, this wine then evolves through notes of citrus and honeysuckle, leaving the palate salivating for more. This is a seriously good wine for unserious people.
Pairing: This lovely, everyday Sauvignon Blanc pairs with just about everything except the usual suspects; steaks, pastas with tomato sauce, and pot roasts. Some great pairing ideas include serving this next to fresh salads, appetizers, salmon rillettes, salmon crepes, fish tacos, California rolls, and Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. Vegetarian/vegan dishes will shine next to this white wine, especially when incorporating fresh produce and herbs (check out the recipe below!).

“The Deux Moulins wines are some of the most delicious values in France. They are selected to be perfect for everyday, and to be easy to drink on their own or with a wide variety of dishes.” Joshua Adler
Wine notes. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The fruit that goes into the Deux Moulins blend comes from gravel and schist vineyards located between Anjou and Tours. Vinified at cold temperatures in stainless steel tanks to emphasize the fruit-forward nature of the wine. Crisp, light, and juicy.
