We’re thrilled to share this delicious, affordable 2017 Pico Maccario Barolo from the commune of Serralunga d'Alba. The Picco Maccario winery was established in 1997 by brothers Pico and Vitaliano Maccario with the intention of making balanced, quality wines for a global audience through a modern, technologically-informed approach to vineyard management and winemaking.

Tasting Notes: Ruby with garnet reflections. Intense and precise, with aromas of vanilla, dark cherry, blackberry, spices, and rose. Dry, velvety, and smooth on the palate with a weight, power, and boldness that carries through to a persistent finish.

Pairing: This wine pairs well with roast beef or venison, hamburgers, or aged cheeses.
