For lovers of big, bold WA wine!
From: Columbia Valley, Washington, USA
Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (55% Weinbau Vineyard, 31% Gamache Vineyard, 14% High River Vineyard)
Tasting Notes: As for aroma we get black cherry, baking spices, and red plum. The palate is rich and full with polished tannins — black currant, cedar, and strawberry. This is a wine that was crafted to be enjoyed right away or lay it down until 2030, the choice is yours.
Pairing: Roasted or barbecued pork would be a great pairing, burgers would be delicious, as would richer pasta. Stuffed portobello mushrooms or roasted eggplant would be divine as well.
m100, crafted by father-son winemaking duo, Charlie and Will Hoppes, is dedicated to the French-born Matriarch of the Hoppes family, Mary-Jane, who lived to the ripe old age of 100.
