From: Guadalupe Valley in Baja California, Mexico
Varietals: Chardonnay, Colombard
Tasting Notes: A floral bouquet with lots of lovely fruit notes including green apple, pear, lemon zest, and hibiscus. The bubbles are fine and persistent, and the wine is dry and elegant on the palate.
Pairing: This sparkling wine from Mexico will save any accidentally over-charred poultry, pair seamlessly with sides of fried chicken, or highlight the perfect rotisserie with its lemon-peach confit meets just-baked-bread and sunshine vibes.
L.A. Cetto is one of the oldest wineries in Mexico and is now responsible for producing more than half of the country’s wine: the estate cultivates 2,700 acres of vineyards in Baja California, Mexico, and also produces tequila and olive oil.
This sparkling wine was made from grapes grown in the Guadalupe Valley using the traditional champagne method. Like all L.A. Cetto wines, this wine was produced using natural and sustainable methods.
