The Rosso di Montalcino by Fattoria del Pino is a medium-bodied red wine that comes from Sangiovese grapes grown on the Montosoli hill. It expresses an intense and rich olfactory profile, characterized by notes of ripe red fruit, spices and light earthy and toasted accents. The taste is velvety, long and warm, with a pleasant freshness and an excellent tannic texture
The winery was born in 2000 in the area of Montosoli on the Sienese side of the hill of Montalcino. This young estate is committed to making the Sangiovese grape prince of the territory with passion and dedication. The vineyards are planted on marl, clay, limestone and sandstone soil. Mid-hill mild temperatures and the presence and proper ventilation allow them to pick highly prized selected grapes from the vines, ready to express their elegance.
The cellar work is carried out using traditional methods. Alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously triggered by indigenous yeasts with medium-long fermentation (from the winds for twenty-five days). The wine is aged in the cellar over the seasons waiting for deposits to settle naturally.
Among Jessica's wines is a classic style Rosso di Montalcino as well as a Brunello di Montalcino.
