Why we love it
1. The cidre and white wines are bright and dry and can be enjoyed alone or alongside a meal. Plus, there's no "buttery Chardonnay" or "grassy Sauvignon Blanc" for your relatives to argue over.
2. There are no hard edges or heavy tannings here, and the reds fit just as easily alongside a meal or alone.
3. Each box will receive a QR code that'll attach to a pdf detailing the backstory and details of each wine.

NV Daufresne Poire (Pear) Cidre
I know Cidre can be polarizing, but trust us, this one is delicious, dry, and sparkling. A medley of Bartlett, Anjou, and Asian pear aromas and flavors right alongside notes of citrus & the teeniest touch of melon. It finishes bright, slightly rustic, and above all, fresh.
2020 Chateau de Castelnau Picpoul de Pinet
Picpoul de Pinet is the Mediterranean oyster wine & this one fully encompasses the bone dry, salty, seaspray-like finish that's most desirable in this classic pairing. You'll get flavors of lime, lemon curd, white flower, lemon peel, and preserved citrus with a finish that's all salinity and ocean vibes. We like to think of it as the wine answer to a margarita craving.
2020 Dopff & Irion 'Crustacés' Sylvaner and Pinot Blanc
If you like Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Chablis, and any other cool climate white wine from France, you'll love this little wine treasure. Citrus, elderberry, and white-fleshed fruits like green apple and Asian pear come together over a dynamic and fresh palate, its finish lingering and mineral.
2020 Domaine Jean-Michel Dupre Beaujolais Villages Vignes de 1940
Beautifully cool red fruits galore! Redcurrant, tart red cherry, red plum skin, and a wonderfully earthy, woodsy undertone are in a harmonious balance and call for good times and lots of rillette, pâté, fromage, and friends.
2020 Domaine Notre Dame des Pallieres Rasteau "Les Ribes"
Rich brambly blackberries, baking spice, violet, and a freshness that speaks to the vintage and charm of this Rhône village. The palate follows suit, and flavors of baking spice & fruit are matched with ripe tannins and a lifted finish. Extremely versatile on the table, this wine can pair alongside a lot: pizza, pasta, eggplant parmesan, dishes that incorporate Mediterranean flavors, and even lightly spiced meals with Chinese Five-Spice as an ingredient.
2021 Saint Cosme Cotes-du-Rhone
A 100% Syrah Côtes-du-Rhône that's always a reliable winner at the table. This vintage immediately shows off an impressive aromatic bouquet of bright berry fruit, black plum skin, violet, crushed black pepper, and sandalwood. The palate follows suit and finishes fresh; with a pleasant lingering note of gingerbread on the finish.
